Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Leaders-In-Motion (LIM) Program
DoD Agency or Component: Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) If you are looking for an opportunity to work for the largest finance and accounting operation in the world, the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) is the place for you. DFAS provides support to the men and women defending this country. We do so by hiring highly educated individuals whose values are aligned with those of the Agency: Integrity, Innovation, and Service. DFAS offers opportunities for individuals who have recently received a college degree and for those who are currently pursuing one.
The Leaders-In-Motion (LIM) program, heralded as a ‘pocket of brilliance’ by Federal Computer Week, provides college graduates the opportunity to apply knowledge from college coursework while learning about the DFAS mission, working in one or more functional areas, and developing their skills to assume future leadership positions.
Our internship program is offered to individuals currently pursing a college degree and provides the opportunity to gain experience in a professional environment while learning the operations of DFAS.
The LIM and internship programs offer opportunities in the following areas: Accounting, Auditing, Financial Management, Human Resources, and Information Technology.
