Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance (IA) Scholarship Program
The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks and Information Integration (ASD (NII)) annually announces a Department of Defense Information Assurance (IA) Scholarship Program grant and scholarship competition. Recipients of scholarship aid in exchange for financial assistance are required by the statute establishing the program (chapter 112, title 10, United States Code), to serve a period of obligated service in DoD as a civilian employee or a member of one of the armed forces.
