This event offers an excellent opportunity for employers to meet with highly skilled and talented wounded, ill and injured service members, their spouses, family members, primary caregivers and other Veterans as they seek employment opportunities.
Our primary focus will be on job opportunities for our wounded service members as they embark on their transition to civilian life. Our service members have excellent knowledge, experience, military training along with tremendous leadership and team building skills. Please come with jobs to offer for all levels of experience and education. Interview areas will be made available.
Your commitment to participate offers hope and career opportunities to our wounded service members who have sacrificed and paid a great price in their service to our country. Show our wounded service members, Veterans, their spouses, and primary caregivers how much they are appreciated by interviewing them and hiring them at this exciting event!
Space is limited and can fill up very quickly. Because of space limitations, organizations that wish to participate in these career fairs must have actual jobs to offer or individualized support services for wounded service members, Veterans and their families.
Registration will close on June 06, 2011 or as soon as all booth spaces are reserved on a first come first serve basis.
Your participation in the DoD Hiring Heroes Career Fair, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., is an important step in assisting injured service members in their search for job opportunities. The 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. timeframe is scheduled to allow for maximum convenience to our wounded service members so that they can meet their medical appointments, physical therapy appointments, military duties, AND still be able to attend the career fair. Due to appointments, some individuals may not be able to attend the event until the afternoon, so we ask that you please do not break down your booth before 2:00 p.m. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
